Shy little Huiping found another artifact. This time I was sleeping, but a diffident sound outside my door awakened me.

"Aria said I should come to you." She held out a green bowl. It was most probably Han - Han was my specialty, which no doubt meant that was why Aria had directed her to me.

"Everything is recorded?"

"Everything. Cameras, depths, everything." She looked nervous, as if she'd done something wrong.

"Huiping, you should be proud of yourself. Two objects to your credit so far. And I know you are methodical."

"I didn't mean to wake you. But they said I should."

I laughed. "For this, awaken me a thousand times!"

I took the bowl, admiring the Han work, and making notes in my log book. She'd also handed me her notes, and I scanned her spidery Mandarin hand, trying to come to some conceptualization of this object's past and meaning.
