Like FeAudrey, I should review my Saturnalia with Senex site to prepare it for the arrival of guests next month. A bit of dusting and cleaning is likely in order. Presently it contains information about gift-giving traditions, the related events of the Sigillaria, Divalia, Brumalia, and New Year, a few games and holiday activities, and a menu for the convivium.Things that I would like to see developed for the holidays:
an advent calendar like the ones M. Didia used to offer for our enjoyment at AS
a collection of Saturnalia cards that citizens can send to one another during the holidays
a poetry or short story writing contest based on the Saturnalia and related themes
a domus decorating contest for Roman citizens
