Thanks for the link, Valeria. Yes, Prof. Drout gave a performance ala Skop!
You wrote: "I think your dedication was "Fer thu hal" (þ=th) which means "Fare you well"."
Now, that makes sense. (þ=th) Does look like the letter "p".
Iseabel, There's another big event coming up in Toronto soon - "The trilogy on an IMAX screen!" They were giving away tickets for it. It's scheduled for April 16th.

I'm not sure when Ringbearer's Day occurs each year. Sometime in March, I think. It is meant to honor the day the One Ring was destroyed. Will have to look it up on a Middle Earth Calendar.
Should also mention how I enjoyed Ted Nasmith's illustrations of Valinor and other Middle Earth locations at the event this past weekend.
I think that's how I'd imagine Valinor to be. Check out his Gallery: http://tednasmith.com/ Thought his illustration of the "Kinslaying" fascinating. Look for it in the Gallery.
Must take some to learn to put links in my posts. Sorry you'll have to cut and paste them for now.
