If the women want a place of their own, I guess it fits the time. After all, Ancient Athens was an extremely gender segregated society, with men and women living almost totally separate lives. I suppose that it makes sense for the women to have their own area here for discourse… or whatever it is you do.
That being the case it would be only proper for the men to have their own area of recreation – shall we call it “The Andron?” – for an ongoing symposium of important :-) topics. Some nice flute music, a little watered wine and lots of good conversation far from the chatter of women. Yes I think that would be very nice… *G*
