Okay, soooo, while people continue to send in their Valar essays (thanks Dravidia!), Brianne, Valeria and I discussed one of our favorite subject, weapons (yeah, I know, three nice ladies like us, how shocking!).

As a result of this discussion, we thought we'd like to write a few lines (make that a lot in some cases, hehe) about our favorite culture's or character's weapons, both in the movies or in the books.

We didn't plan any schedule for that one, it's really open to everyone's will to add their two cents, and it's gonna be completed on this basis. There is no deadline or anything. Again, the articles will form a kind of encyclopedia of sorts, just like with the Valar, and they will be posted in the website as well (unless someone doesn't want us to: even posted here, the article belongs to the author alone, and not to Valinor).

You'd like to write something? Just announce yourself on this very thread or at my home, so that we don't end up with 4 articles on Sting, and there you go. Pretty simple, ain't it? Of course, you are more than welcome if you'd like to draw parallels with RL weapons or cultures *hint hint*
