Arminius admires the frescoes his painter had finished earlier in the year...truly a testament to the Sabine gods! The use of perspective was excellent, and the colors fairly glowed with an inner light. Arminius gave the attendant some incense while he himself offered up the white ram and ewe he had brought.
"O Quirinus, O Hora! Look on me with kindness...your true son of the ancient ways! Others may look to the later Roman gods, but we know who the true founding deities of the roman people are! It is to you that I ask: Look favourably upon my quest for office in the current elections--grant me victory, and I will dedicate my first games to your honor!
"Accept these sacrifices as a token of my continuing esteem and dedication to your service!"
Soon, the smell of roasting flesh permeates the temple, and the incense has fulfilled its duty of nourishing the gods.
Cost of Sacrifices: 200 D
