 The ring of Minos The representation of a Goddess -a priestess, a nymph perhaps?- rowing herself into a boat that carries besides an altar with the horns of consecration, could make reference to the foundation of "colonies" where the cult was carried?
The shape of the ship in what has beeen called "the ring of Minos" is that of a seahorse.
Why a seahorse?
Because it is the only male that bears the eggs and give birth?
