    I do not see Perun and Thor as two similar Gods...I see them both as being the same deity as viewed through different cultural lenses....as well as the Celtic Taranis and the Baltic Perkunas and a few others. All stemming from the Proto-Indo-European striker deity reconstructed as *Perkwunos.
