Acting as our opening ceremony event for springfest 2004, the Dancing Lion Parade began in the Forbidden City, China and ran all the way through all 5 of our regions ending in India with everything you can imagine in between. It was a huge success, and can still be enjoyed (including the original music, images and text) by starting at 'post 1': Parade begins in 10 minutes!, ending with this post you're reading now. Swordfighters, buckets of water and more await you! Enjoy yourself.

For this springfest only, our opening ceremony will include the full Dancing Lion Parade, come and spectate or throw food at the scribes!

Join us in giving the Orient the big welcome it deserves! Participate in our Dancing Lion Parade. A complete event in itself, where you can stop in and be spectators (or medics!) to watch the huge parade go by. We will have several distinguished visiting ambassadors from other ancient lands giving commentary.

It starts as soon as Springfest commences, and will continue for about 3 hours. All parade announcements will be made in pale blue ,so that everyone can follow along.
