Therefore, the Junior Consul, who will likely be elected by the Plebian Assembly, will be seen as less legitimate. The premise of your argument is faulty however, because the Plebian Assembly has just as much legitimacy as the Centuriate Assembly. All lower government offices, not just the Tribune of the Plebs, have always been elected by the Assembly. I realize that Casca's legislation may have ramifications in terms of your ability to vote in the next elections, but I feel the rights of Plebians have been overlooked too easily in the current system."
