I had a decision to make. Or decisions. Certainly unexpected ones upon my arrival here. I had thought I would only be explaining myself to the Queen, but now I find myself torn. A part of me wanted to share my secrets with Talorcan. Another part feared his reaction which could very well and understandably be rejection. I had no qualms about gaming and gambling but this may very well be the greatest gamble of my life. O the chances the heart could cause one to consider.

I needed a little more time to decide how much I would share with this man who already haunted my heart. I said, "If you are not too busy in the morning, would you consider meeting me at the stables? I passed a small clear lake on my way here. It would be a nice outting and provide more privacy..for continued conversation that is." I flushed. "I'm really not that comfortable about discussing myself in a public place such as this."
