L. Caesar quae. to Messalina Terentius, greetings!
If you are well, I am well. You are most gracious, as always.
Some friends, Lysias Isocrates and his wife Artemis, offered the use of their villa by the sea for your stay in Athens; they'll be delighted to have you as their honoured guest. Your agent Bibulous complains that he will be ruined without you - an exageration I well understand. Do you want to bring him along so he can help produce the play? There are a couple of great young actors I want you to meet, especially one Publilius Syrus. He has great tales of his own life to tell as well.
Please notice that spring here starts early and the festival takes place in the month of Antistherion; this year it shall fall in the beginning of our March. Maybe you will want to travel with the consul, if he comes our way at that time? Be well. I am forever your admirer.
