And an interesting one at that! To be honest, I didn't even think of the Teotihuacanos having created the jade maks on their own, I assumed that it was probably Maya. Yes indeed,....it will be very interesting to find out what the carbon dating results come up with - this could very well change the outlook on several things. In some respect, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that the Teotihuacanos played such a role in the development of Maya burials - this city and its people always seem to have such great importance to all that encounter it, be it during or after their civilization ended. This does lead one to speculate what other influences the Teotihuacanos could have had on the Maya though. Hmmmm....
