I have recently travelled from Herculaneum a day's journey from Pompeii and am happy to be back in Pompeii, seeing the amphitheatre whilst next door is the gladiator school where I spent many hours whilst younger.

A lot of sea traffic traveling towards Rome stops off here which has been helping the city thrive.
