This afternoon, we visited the Sera Monastery. Click on its name to be brought to a site that explains the significance of this monastery. Our main interest was to observe the more senior monks instructing and debating with their juniors.
Below are pictures we took at the courtyard in the monastery where these debates took place.
I watched this particular monk for a while. He was very aggressive and demanding of his “students”.
The two monks shown below were much more considerate of their students.
