Seme only wishes she was a poor sod living south of the equator.
I think that a haiku competition is great. Just an idea though. Since Sank suggested that haiku's be ranked on a rubric of 1 to 3, 3 being the best and 1 being the worse, does anyone else think there should be clear guidelines as to what a 3 needs to have?
For instance, a 3 would have the following criteria:
- Haiku would consist of 15 sylables
- Haiku stays on topic presented by organizors
- etc.
I know this isn't much, but I am pretty brain dead right now. Anyone else have any ideas of what a top-notch haiku should have in it?
