    Livy compared to Polybios

    I have to admit I am one of the few who prefer Livy to Polybios. Books XXI to XXX are immensely readable IMO, something that Polybios certainly is not, whom I find to be dull, pedantic and very wordy. Plus as an historical text and source, Livy is much easier to find information in because of his analytical approach
