Sibling Rivalry is the title of the story currently developing in the Valley thread. It is a story about the rivalry of Eoghain Cumhaill and his twin sister Morrigu for the leadership of Clan Cumhaill.

Background information:
Prior to Eoghain's acension to the chiefship, the twins were fostered by their father to his cean catha. Eoghain being the eldest and male, was groomed by his father and the Cean Catha for the day when the tuath would select him to lead the family group.

Morrigu was raised in the traditional manner that women of the time period were expected to do. Morrigu's free spirit, however led her to rebel against her father's wishes and seek the life of a fennidh in a local warband.

Through her plotting, she was indirectly responsible for the death of her father and for her actions, was banished from the tribe, much to the reluctance of her brother. As she left, she swore openly an oath, to one day return and usurp her brother of his rank of cean fine within the tribe. This is the story of that return.

The storyline is open to all who wish to participate. It is only asked that posts that shift the plot in some manner or reveal additional important details about the rivalry, be approved with Eoghain Cumhaill prior to posting.
