    ...or more appropriately, Moria. this has always been my favorite area of middle earth. it has such a somber, timeless quality to it. such a point of heart-ache and longing for the dwarves, whom i have always favored. its the one area i would love to see another movie or book focus on, the Retaking of Moria! especially with the balrog gone, perhaps a possibility? how many balrogs were awoken? and were there other dread beasts?
