Patiently awaiting her turn in the tent, the Vestal marvels at the craftsmanship displayed in the cuneiform awaiting pick-up.

    “Next ?”

    “That would be me, please.”

    “What will ya have, lady?”

“I’d like to order II of your remarkable stones, please.”

Making marks in the sand, the Scribe points to the order-form and replies, “This many would be II ?”

    “Aye.”

“And what do you wish the II cuneiform to reflect?”

Smiling happily, Ceres explains, “I’d like one for a wonderful Lady in Rome. Rome – that’s where I’m from. It’s to be a gift honoring her for two of her sons, and thanking her for their care of me during this vacation. And if there’s time and if you could make one more, I’d like one with my initials on it – but that’s not as important as the first one.”

Staring at the shopper, the Scribe says, “And what … exactly… will each of your II cuneiform say?”

Blushing at her oversight, Ceres kneels on the ground and carefully prints the letters needed for each stone:

    F A P

    C C

Nodding her understanding, the Scribe exclaims, “You’ll have your II cuneiform ASAP – but leave your shipping address in case they’re not ready for pick-up before you leave my country. We’ll send any items not retrieved by the tourists via the next scheduled pirate ship - or merchant’s boat – whichever sails first.”

Answering the Vestal’s whispered thanks with a lovely smile, the Scribe adds, “Will this be coins, or charge?”
