Good heavens, I just threw out some light-hearted thoughts about the difficulties of us, now, getting into a pre-Christian mind-set and you were all over me, as they say in the American South, "like white on rice."

I DO believe that it is difficult for us to understand a pre-Mosaic (? do you spell it that way?), pre-Christian universe, is all my post was meant to say. And that makes all our knowledge about just how the Romans conducted their State religion a tad difficult to truly understand. No more!
