I wasn't sure where to put this. I'm fascinated by modern re-interpretations of myths and sagas and so I thought I'd post it somewhere, and it is pertinent because it has Saxons in it. :D They are making a movie from the Nibelungen saga. Here is the official site. As usual with these movies, it looks good and has good actors in it, but will it live up to our expectations? The tormented production history does not make me think well (it was previously known as "Kingdom in Twilight"), but hope springs eternal. More stills here.
