Apiladey loves this. He pictures the image in his mind, his body braced forward into the wind. His loose Babylonian clothing flung straight back by the wind. His manly physique outlined clearly by the hard-pressed clothing........how heroic. Just then one of the mosquitos who couldn't find his way into the brush collides with Apiladey's nose. As everyone knows, kinetic energy is totalled up more by the velocity in an impact than the mass. That little mosquito had enough speed to knock Apiladey off the cabin down to the deck, where he summersaulted into the stern end of the boat. The last he saw was the three competitors heading toward Babylon at breakneck speed.
