    In recognition of the Battle of Hastings anniversary coming up next Thursday, October 14, the History International Channel is going to show three airings of the Simon Schama series "A History of Britain: Conquest!" this weekend, October 9th and 10th. This is an excellent program about the Norman invasion and anyone who has a chance to see it again or see it for the first time should take advantage of the opportunity to do so if possible. Those who are not able to see it can purchase a VHS or DVD copy of the entire series from Amazon.com. More detailed episode information can be found here:
