    And yes, the bean counters pan him to death. If you want accuracy, read the primaries. There're lovely to drop off to. The Ross Leckie’s books, I think give you a better picture of the truth than just a list of accepted facts. Leckie is a Ph.D. and Professor of classics, and I am not certain if he is not more accurate. In truth, no one can be. It is only pedants who quibble with him. He makes history come alive and that is what I have fought for for many years. Nothing kills history as surely as the Alexandrian pedants. History should not be desiccated in a sarcophagus. It is alive, vital, and relevant.
