Without grabbing one of my geology books *geek status on* I can only remember a few.
Garnets - especially star garnets- are abundant. I think that the star garnets are only found here and in India, but don't quote me.
Opals - we gots lots of them!

Basically we were lucky enough to have the geologic activity which makes crystals grow.*geek status off*
