Sir Murchad speaks low to the lady at his table, Erina...
Good Milady, I beg thy leave for but a moment. Presently, I go yonder to introduce myself to Sir Luc, the gentle knight who has obviously caught more than your eye. If it please thee, I shall return forthwith.
Sir Murchad strides gracefully to the table where Sir Luc is seated. His gait belies one who has been a-horse more than a-foot, smooth and measured. Coming to the table where Sir Luc is seated, Sir Murchad stops and gives a brief, shallow bow.
Good Sir Knight, may it please thee, I am Sieur Murchad de Aquitaine, late of campaigns against the Saracens near Jerusalem, and leader of the first compagnie. I am a humble stranger to these parts, only recently arrived, but I have graciously accepted Her Majesty's royal invitation. However...
At this, Murchad pauses and takes in the incandescent glower of Sir Luc...
I am no stranger to the ways of Knights and their Ladies. I suggest we switch seats. I will not be the first to sow the seeds of discord within her majesty's court. I trust that thou also desirest the same, being of gentle station and noble carriage.
Sir Murchad straightens himself to his full height, and looks patiently down at the Irish cniht seated before him.
