...though not exactly in good cheer, to the Duchess' speech. He aimed the salute at the new Templar Grand Master, a fine man whom Luc d'Antrim had had the pleasure of fighting with in the lands of Jerusalem.
His dour spirit was not the product of the food or ale he drank - both were exceptionally fine. No, it was the fact that the Lady Erina sat with a man that Luc's table companions identified as Sir Murchad of France.
Sir Luc d'Antrim could not fathom why the choice of table companion of a local courtesan could bother him so...yet still it did.
The knight from Northern Eire buried himself in the food once again, trying to focus on the coming games...
