    Sheesh Dravidia! Be nice to you ;-).
    You do make a good point, however. The elves are help in too high esteem at times so having "human" qualities does bring the story closer to home, so to speak. Maeglin too was a "bad" elf, but without him the story wouldn't be so good.

    Without Feanor, the mythology would be boring and shorter. He just makes me so mad sometimes! ARGH!
