Thank you wraeccan for your kind words on my essay, although as of right now I haven't gotten it back from my instructor so I am not sure if i am close to the truth or not.

As far as the mention of Gawain in The Squire's Tale, I recently downloaded an article written by the Arthurian scholar Roger Sherman Loomis where he goes into great detail on the connections of The Squire's Tale and Gawain and the Green Knight.

Unfortunately, i don't have the paper with me at work right now, but hopefully I will be able to post some key points on it here soon.
