when I first read about the tunels they had spent years working on.
But if you think about it it does make sense...
First of all they were built to hide away their treasures and if we relly on how important those were I would not have chosen to pay anyone to build the tunels for me either.
It makes sense that they thereforre would like to keep that a secret,or at least as secret as it could be.

This is one of the reasons why I like the Templars so much,their history always kept surprising me when I first read it...long long ago,boy do I sound old when say that :)
Anyway...
