I was amazed as we were announced at our entrance. I felt that the conversation did momentarily come to a halt. I was ever so glad that it picked up again instantly. As we were escorted to our seats, I noticed the Germanic envoy. I did hope that there would be no reason for an attack this evening, but I had received messages lately of possible erratic warlike rumblings from the north. Please let us just enjoy the evening, but don't be upset if a problem should occur.
