Indeed the former consul is quite correct.
I dissolved all offices as I called the elections and since the vote for the new offices has started but not finished no tribunes currently exist.
Therefore Marcus Minucius Palus is unable to veto anything, he is no longer a tribune of the plebes.
Furthermore the vote on the edict has started and both former tribunes ATA and MMP have voted against the edict before thinking of a veto.
As veto's can only be issued before voting begins and the voting has obviously begun, even MMP cannot argue that this is not so, no veto could occur even if the offices were still held.
Therefore, stand down Palus before I have you removed for inciting disorder. Ignore the veto, it is not valid.
