you are right Blanche, but illegal immigration and working is still a problem today, I think. People have no money and the viscious circle goes on and on.
I have read an article on homeless Poles in Germany, they have elft country to seek welfare but some pf them still remain homeless...but they depend on the german system to take care of them..speaking of which, Germany has been up to this point far better at taking care of the homeless..there were origanisations, now closed i think due to lack of funds, catering for them.
About those names, Blanche, those sound Russian, but they do have their melody, I agree. \
And another thing. I have read that the Czechs have begun to like and trust poland!
There was an article in a Czech broadshett on a survey that had been conducted and it turns out Poland is the second country (after Slovakia) Czechs like the most!
Accoridn to the newspaper, the Czechs have abandoned traditional way of looking at Poles. Before 1989, what must have been due to the then propaganda, Poles were considered only to be illegal dealers.
But another newspaper said that Czech are accepting the growing importance of this nation,
Nations that Czehs like the least: China, Israel, Turkey and Russia.
And Svarog, talk about an enthusiastic oppinion!!!! *lol* Thanks! ;-)
