    The Seneca (and other Iroquois tribes) played the original form of lacrosse, which I will talk about later.

    They also played snow snake, a contest played by men or young boys, where a narrow but de-barked and polished stick would be thrown at high speed along a channelled track of snow/ice, with the point being to get your stick to travel the furtherest. Adult sticks were five to seven feet long, while the young boys used much smaller versions. The stick was narrow, with the front end being bullet-shaped.

    From the accounts, competition was fierce.
