A few days ago I finally got I Claudius in the mail, and for the first time in my life I've been watching it. Trying to limit my intake to one part per day, but I tell you it is so fascinating its hard to limit myself. I fear the free time offered by the weekend..my ravenous appetite for the characters will probably break my will and I will watch it all in an ugly Vitellian orgy of perfect cinema.

Perhaps AW can help me through it. But even if I administer my watching like Livia her poison, still all good things come to an end. Then I will have watched all available Roman movies and my heart starve again.
