The miniseries, I mean. I tried to watch it. Julianna Margulies is one of my favourite actresses. But one of the first sentences by Viviaine who said that they had to protect the Goddess and Christ from the Saxons turned me off. In the book it's much subtler. Though I'm not a fan of Marion Zimmer Bradley because her male heroes are always either weak or wicked (I liked Mordred, however) I thought the difficult balance between Christianity and Paganism was well-done. In the miniseries it looked like Viviaine didn't really differentiate between them. Oh well, maybe I'll watch it on tape with friends, at least we'll have fun.
And then, must we Saxons always look this bad? *G*
