The empire practiced the wise idea of using troops from one area in a totally different area. Africans and Syrians in Britannia, Germans in Egypt? This ensured they had less of a bond with those they controlled and isolated them in an unfamiliar land, making them more beholden to Rome.

I was wondering, does anyone know where troops raised in Britannia were stationed?
