Casius Cornelius is taken to the Senate where he must be judged for the charge of murdering a whore who's name were never determinated
Silas Equitonius The District Attorney begins by saying:
"Salve Senators of this noble and eternal city Rome The Great, and to keep it great we must pursuit the criminals such as this one presented to you this day."
"On May 24 when he returned from Capri,a place known for its debouchery and crime,Cornelius went to the dying gaul Tabern to drunken himself, and then he wanted to sport with the public women, but they could not reach an agreement about the price of the pleasure he was willing to buy,so he insulted the public woman with words that are not necessary to repeat".
"when at last he got a woman who would sport with him for the price he wanted he took her home and after fulfilling his desire he murdered her with such violence that it is hardly to believe, why he murdered her? I have no idea, but there is a crime to be punished here,a civilised society cannot live if drunken assassins are there murdering in total impunity".
"Need we more evidence? there were blood on his person,on his hands the homicide weapon (shows it to the senators) was found right beside his bed,and the corpse of the victim was on his bed too so it leads us to think that the subject might have necrophilic preferences".
