Lord Mori Motonari sat quietly in the house he had taken for his headquarters in Mihara. His army had arrived some time ago as well as that of many of the Ouchi supporters, but his scouts had still not reported anything to him. What news? What news? He dared not move on Takamatsu until he knew more of the province! The Mori had in Bingo 10,000 foot samurai, 4,000 mounted samurai, and 5,000 archers and the Ouchi had 15,000 archers, 4,000 mounted samurai, and 4,000 mounted warriors in the province with the Mori army. What of the nobles in Bingo allied to the Ouchi? There was as yet no news on how many men they were sending. And none of any Amako supporters who may have answered the offer Motonari sent them upon his arrival in the province. Had any of them decided to join with the Mori army? Until he knew he would remain in Mihara. Standing, Motonari went to the window and stared out over the bay. At least the view was nice.
(OOC Could I have an update on the results of my scouts/emissaries activities and the like?)
