Here is the current roster of events in Rome. These can be tweaked or changed, of course, but it's to give everyone an idea of what is happening, and when.

You will note some schedule changes; Rome has been moved to the final city in the list for the Gold Launch (due to Egyptian scheduling conflicts). Second, we had roughed out the "Theatre of Marcellus" night originally for later, but the schedule revamp puts it on the new date.
The concept is that, for each "historical R&R event" (for example, the Theatre of Marcellus performance or the "Hadesween" event) there will be two main areas running; an historical board, for background in Roman history, and the "event" board itself, where the thing "happens" real-time.
As you can see, Rome has probably THE most ambitious program of any city (which is as it should be, we're the greatest and we have the most citizens).
So far, Josephia has kindly agreed to organize the Virtual Tour (with help from Jot and, hopefully, our old "Rome Tours" from AS).
Aulus has agreed to oversee the Circus Maximus races, with a lot of help from his friends.
I'm working on the Theatre of Marcellus, and volunteers would be appreciated - please volunteer under the thread here on this board!?
Senex and Maximius and I are doing the Halloween in Hades (largely Senex, who's coming up with a knock-your-socks-off program)
Cornellia and Maximius are working on the "launch" of the Golden Phoenix as well as the Triumph.
And we're all pitching in to do the finale, at the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus.
A final note - we'd originally thought of a "trivia night" but it's my understanding that trivia games, mazes, and activities will, rather, be scattered throughout Rome throughout the festivities, including a Scavenger Hunt which ought to be a real blast (did I get that right, Senex?) Check with Senex for dates and details!
As usual, I'm stunned by the amount of sheer hard work everyone's putting in . . . many thanks!
Gearing up to go!
