Well I grew up in family that managed a country and western band and owned a dance hall. I took piano lessons from 2nd grade through high school. When I was in high school (back in the caves) I took music appreciation, choir etc.

I was introduced to classical music through music appreciateion, and I did appreciate it! As a teen-ager in the 50's I moved over to pop music, but the family still had the band and the dance hall.

For the last 20 years I have been with a community theater that does musical theater. I did always love the musical movies--Sound of Music, Music Man etc etc. So now I get to work on them.

Four years ago I became the Concert Manager of our local Symphony orchestra. Sort of like the producer of a play. My high school music appreciation teacher would be so proud of me! I like almost all kinds of music (except maybe rap-tye stuff).
