    a. d. X Kalends Iunoniae Nefas Publica.

TUBILUSTRIUM: A purification rite was performed on the trumpets used to announce the opening of the Comitia Calata. This comitia was made up of the curiones and at times was headed by the Rex Sacrorum, at times by the pontifex maximus. Its purpose was to hear wills publicly proclaimed.

Feriae Volcano: The month of Maius began with the flamen Volcanalis offering sacrifices to Maia. This day's feriae complemented the kalends rites with rites performed for Volcanus and Maia together.

Dies Rosarum: The Day of Roses is when wreaths of roses are laid at the tombs and monuments of the Manes.
