Imperator Cornelius Pola,
We have heard that you have for much time now been marshalling a grand army with which to march upon your capitol. This I have no qualm with, the business of Rome is with Rome, and my treaties fortunately do not stipulate who to fight for in a time of civil strife.
However, I am indeed very concerned as to what the state of my lands will be when you do cross. We are not a very large kingdom and even the slightest damage affects us all. But this manner however could easily be forgotten if a decent sum were given up front as reparations to be used to repair the lands once you have crossed.
