First of all if a person claims that Bahai faith took some bliefs from other religions it ill be some thing like "Christianity took the bliefs from Judaism"... and it will be wrong. Because nothing belongs to people or names of the religions, everything in every religion are from the same God. If e talk about Babi and Bahai faith... in Quran, god says "In the day of resurrection we will blow trumpet two times, first except the people protected everyone will die, than in the second one people will come alive." The prophet Bab (he took the name of the Bab = Gate because he is the gate to the manifestation of God) was the first Trumpet, he didn't tell anything to people and only 18 people understood that he was the turmpet and they came him by theirselfs, after these 18 people Bab said "Yes i am the one but the second trumpet is going to come." The second trumpet was Bahaullah who was a follower of Bab... When Bahaullah told that he is the Pormised One some people started to follow him some started to torture him as usual in every new creation. This is the relationship between Babi and Bahai Faiths. It is the quite same relition between Baptist John and Jesus Christ but the different thing now is Bab saw Bahaullah but he didn't tell him that he is the pormised one.
