Hades also has an aspect of fertility in his role a Pluto or in Greek Ploutos (Earth's Riches).

He somehow, together with Persephone & Demeter, nourishes the Earth from below?

I have to examine this more closely. I've never done research on Hades, but his does not strike me as evil. We also need to let go of our pre-determined ideas about the Underworld. They are not the same as Hell!

Also, in Greek, many expressions like 'go to Hades' or for lost loves /broken hearts I've also heard phrases pertaining to Hades.

Ok, gotta go find some books on Hades! I'll be back soon.
