I hereby declare the Roman Springfest of 2004 (the Palilia and Romaea) officially closed.

We had a beautiful party together, with many highlights, such as the quizzes (especially Hecate's!), the Tour of the House of the Tragic Poet (thanx Cornellia!), the Satyrical Play ("The Birth of Rome", thanx Heraklia) and the wonderful Banquet!

Many people in Rome and from other worlds in AW were there and took part in the merry festivities and it has been an honor for me to have received all of you!*s* I hope you had a good time!

For all of you who made a Rome Birthday Card, thanks a lot!!!! You did splendidly! The cards will be gathered by me and put up in a special collage post, so that an expert judge can have a look at them and pick the best one for a little award...This will be the only item being closed after the closing of the Roman Springfest...I guess somewhere today.

I want to thank all others of you who helped me making this Roman Springfest come about and be a succes: Senex Caecilius, Laurels Curius, Paullus Fabius with his excellent Roman history quiz, Cail and Sank for being so merry and funny and for enjoying the wine so much, *s* and really, everyone else who made this party a good one!

Gratias, gratias, multas gratias vobis ago!

    Tanaquil
