Since I know that most of you have seen this list by now from the ACTA (if not, go read the ACTA!) I figured it would be safe now to go ahead and post the article and it's results here.
ARACHNE'S WEB HOMESITE CONTEST RESULTS!
As most have noticed (kinda hard not to huh?) I got insanely busy both in rl and elsewhere in AW. But despite my recent ditziness, you all were still able to pull it together and get this contest rolling with great results! So without further ado..
Awarded members for this spring round of Arachne's Web Homesite Contest are~
Because we get the final tally from two rounds of voting, there were alot of honorable mentions after the last round. To offset this and give them the deserved credit, every home that got a vote is automatically invited to become part of the Arachne's Web Homesite Ring. We are therefore thrilled to invite the following members who also placed in this contest:
Anya Gepid, Caileadair Etana, Miranda Catuvellauni, Xochiquetzal Tupac, Quester Warad Sin and Ladee Niall.
Due to popular demand we've also constructed alternate homering images, one for Celtia (many thanks Ladee!) and another to include Egypt and Babylon (sorta) and here it is:
To all those invited to participate in the webring, please leave us a message either in the contest thread if you are an Arachne's Web member, or in my homesite, and I'll come drop it off along with the alternatives for your inclusion in homes. More images including one for Machu Picchu are on the way (hopefully!) and when completed, I'll update our present ring owners with available goodies and code. I'll set up the coding including the gold banner image denoting the placements hopefully tonight or tomorrow night. Sorry, it's just time consuming and difficult to put in the next and previous url's until I get confirmation from those eligible. But it will be done!
Please stop in and congratulate these folks, for obviously not only do they have great taste (or a flair for the dramatic!) but have put alot of work and thought into their homes over the years. Also thank our judges for their much much hard work! - Diantha Livius, Neima Nebet, Asenath Amenhotep and (last quarter's finalist) Blanche Yngling. A personal thank you judges for putting up with me this last few weeks, and for taking the time to do this! Also a full Arachne's Web Thank you to Bryce Yupanqui, who once again really came in and saved the day. (again)
