    Cato did seem to go through alot of crap in his early life. I personally don't blame him for taking up Stoicism lol.

    One of the things that really sticks out for me was that, according to Plutarch, Sulla took somewhat of an interest in Cato and his brother. He also says Sulla did it because of their father (which is weird since they had different fathers). Any thoughts on this?

    On a semi-related topic, do we know anything about Cato's father?
