    RENO or RHENO. A short cloak made of hide (perhaps reindeer, Swed. Ren) with the hair; used by Germans (Caes. B.G. vi. 21; Serv. ad Verg. Georg. iii.383) and Gauls (varro, L.L. v. 167).
